Beach weddings

Beach weddings are located on the sandy public beaches of Barbados; popular beaches for weddings in Barbados are on the south west coast and the west coast of the island. A beachfront wedding can be as large or as small as you want it. With the reception being held at the any of the nearby restaurants that back the beach.

Your wedding location can be decorated with a decorated arch and your isle created by placing a bed of petals or isle runners for you to walk down. Also dependant on your budget a marquee could be placed onto to the beach, please bear in mind facilities such as rest rooms may have to be hired in, as some locations do not offer this.

Imaging your wedding taking place on a beach, watched by your close family and friends, or just you in an intimate ceremony with the striking blue seas and a tropical sunset at the backdrop to your wedding pictures.

Weddings will usually take place in the gardens. Whiles receptions can take place in one of the dinning rooms but this is for formal seating. Other arrangements can be made for an informal setting.

Church weddings

An old favourite, the church wedding. Walking up the isle in a beautiful old historic church, with an organ playing and filling the air with harmonious gospel like melodies. Get married in front of god with your friends and family present.

Catamaran and yacht weddings

Set sail on your own private catamaran or yacht for your special occasion. Saying I do out in the great blue yonder is ideal for the couple looking to get away from a normal kind of wedding.

This way your partner and you or even a few close friends and family could get away and sail out to sea with your own captain and crew.

You can laze around on deck or take a drive with the sea turtles, but what ever you choose, you know it will be a day to remember.

You have had enough of wherever you are living, the UK, USA, Canada France, Germany etc, for some of us the grass seems a wee bit greener somewhere else. It is a commonly said phrase, escaping the rat race. But is the grass any greener somewhere else. For many people the illusion is created by being on holiday to some sunny destination. One, two or more weeks lazing in the sunshine, boozing it up, relaxing and taking things easy, creates an illusion of a better living environment, a better country to live in.

What many people forget, is that things don’t quite seem so fantastic when you have to go and find a job in your newfound paradise. Or you head to paradise, not realising that the business you have bought or are starting up, is going to involve a lot of hard work. Your goal of an easier more fulfilling life isn’t turning out the way you planned it.

For the realists out there, escaping the rat race is a full filling, liberating and rewarding experience, and the benefits far outweigh the downsides, which there is and will be.

For those seeking to escape the rat race, there will be many different reasons behind this way of thinking, the weather, crime, cost of housing, hate your job, needing a new challenge or experience. Everyone will have their own mitigating factors as to why they want to leave their home country. You have to seriously think about what you are trying to escape and will it really be any better some place else, whether you’re working for yourself or for someone else.

For me personally I have spent 3 years thinking about it and a combined total of 10 weeks on holiday in my soon to be new home Barbados. For me personally I look forward to the challenge of living in and creating a new home in the beautiful Caribbean island of Barbados.

I can’t wait for the hard work and challenges of running my own businesses, a climate that I love, being able to breed my own animals for food and grow many of my own fruits and vegetables, I crave the slower pace of life and being in an environment where people aren’t constantly rushing around. I’m well aware of the downsides to moving to and living in Barbados, but I willingly accept them.

Only time will tell whether my dream of escaping the rat race, is really all its cracked up to be. I will be heading to Barbados with a positive frame of mind and a willingness to embrace my new home and lifestyle.

I loved Barbados so much that I even decided to get married there, Barbados the Perfect Wedding Location!

Barbados is an English speaking country, but like many other countries they have a local dialect, which is known as Bajan, 20 Bajan Words That Will Make Your Trip to Barbados More Fun!

”There is nothing nobler or more admirable than when two people who see eye to eye keep house as man and wife, confounding their enemies and delighting their friends”.
Homer

I have travelled to many different countries all around the world for the purpose of work and for the enjoyment of travelling. During my travels it has become apparent to me that certain countries seem to have a much larger and noticeable amount of pretty girls than others. I’m not trying to imply that there aren’t pretty girls in every single county in the world, because I know there are, I have seen countless pretty Scottish, English, Polish, Russian, American, Dutch, Aussie etc girls.

But for me the pure abundance of sexy girls in the following countries is truly amazing, it is like being sent to heaven, when you go to these countries.

Barbados: The beautiful Caribbean Island is more than just a fantastic place to go on holiday; it has also got an amazing amount of good-looking girls, with amazing bodies. If you like sexy  black girls with nice big booties and pretty faces you will be in heaven.

Brazil: It doesn’t get much better than Brazil in South America, there are literally thousands of sexy beautiful  woman of all skin colours, black, white, olive, and the beaches must be the best in the world!

Nigeria: I wouldn’t choose to go to a hell hole, like Nigeria unless it was through work, but there are so many beautiful sexy  looking girls with near perfect bodies, which makes me hope that at some point in my lifetime that  it becomes a safe country to visit.

Somalia: I have admittedly never been to this African country, but I have seen a few hundred  sexy Somalian girls in London, beautiful faces, long legs, and amazing bodies. I think I can be pretty sure what I will find when I eventually make it too Somalia!

Trinidad: Again I have chosen the Caribbean for another hotspot for beautiful sexy  woman, light skinned beauties, with near perfect bodies and faces, you have to visit the Island to appreciate what I’m saying.

For me these countries are like being in heaven as far as the local woman population is concerned. This is my list so far, who knows this may change as I continue on my travels.

I have heard people rave on about Asian, Filipino, Scandinavian, and Eastern European woman, but for me, they are not in the same league as the 5 countries that I have mentioned. But I realise everyone’s tastes are different and in the UK you are allowed freedom of speech, and I have made my opinion known.

I have recently read a great article about why the great Stewie Griffin should become the next President of America Stewie Griffen To Run For American President

For me Barbados is a fantastic choice as a holiday destination, in fact I love it so much I chose to get married there last year. It may not be the prettiest Caribbean island, it sure isn’t the cheapest island in the Caribbean  and the roads aren’t the smoothest either. But the island has a unique charm and style, which I find truly captivating and it has drawn me back on numerous occasions.

The beaches are some of the best in the world; you have the calm Caribbean side of the island and the rougher and more rugged Atlantic side, both of which are lined with beautiful, must visit beaches. The island offers virtual year round sunshine and warmth, and when the rain comes, it is nothing that someone from the UK or colder countries cant easily cope with.

It is one of the easiest   islands to travel around,  that I have ever been to, to travel around, in fact you could travel around the island in a day, if you were in a hurry, but of course your in the Caribbean and there’s no need to hurry, as soon as I board the Virgin flight at Gatwick bound for Barbados, I leave that rushing around mentality at home. I go to Barbados to take things easy and relax.

Barbados offers a reasonable good choice of visitor attractions and sites such as Harrison’s Cave, St Nicolas Abbey, Welchman Hall Gully, Sunbury Plantation house, The Barbados Museum, a huge choice of boat trips, submarine trip, vast choice of waters sports, international standard golf courses, a vibrant nightlife, with a vast of choice of cuisines to chose from including local to international.

From a personal point of view Barbados was and is an excellent choice for getting married, we couldn’t have had a more memorable wedding day, the beach front location was stunning, the ceremony was a relaxed and  beautiful experience, the Marquee reception was truly a fitting climax to the best wedding day we could have ever hoped for. The Hotel we stayed in, The Southern Palms was a fantastic place to stay and help provide the most memorable honeymoon experience anybody could have  ever wish for! For anybody thinking about getting married in Barbados I would recommend  Celebrations Caribee  they offer exceptional value for money and a very high quality service. Unlike many Bajan businesses, this company runs on UK time not Bajan time, i.e. they turn up and do things when they are meant too!

For me what makes Barbados so special is that you don’t have jam packed beaches like you do in countries like Spain, Greece, Italy or Croatia, or huge groups of drunken louts roaming the streets, also it doesn’t seem like a whole council block full of people have moved home and are staying in your hotel!
